
Why apply for the Medical Imaging Certificates Program?
The Medical Imaging Certificates Program offers certified and currently working Radiologic Technologists the opportunity to earn a certificate in a specific modality within sixteen weeks.
All didactic coursework and clinical practice must be completed and properly documented within the registered (one) semester in order to receive a Certificate of Completion from the University.
Students who complete any of the Medical Imaging Certificates Program options will be eligible to register for the certification examination with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in their chosen modality鈥擟omputed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), and/or Mammography (M).

Program Goals
Upon graduation from the program, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge of specialized medical imaging.
- Describe appropriate technical factors and safety measures while applying accurate positioning.
- Deepen student core competencies within the context of advanced imaging healthcare professions.
- Prepare written reports on atypical cases in advanced imaging and present the reports orally.
- Use problem-solving and critical thinking skills in advanced imaging to identify and explain non-routine examinations.
