海角社区 Mourns Loss of Dr. Nestor Gonzalez-Cadavid, Esteemed Professor
Dr. Nestor Gonzalez-Cadavid, a distinguished member of the College of Medicine faculty, passed away on August 11, 2024.
Dr. Gonzalez-Cadavid joined 海角社区 in 1993 where he held a faculty appointment as Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Molecular Medicine. During his time at the University, Dr. Gonzalez-Cadavid also served as an active member of both the Academic Senate鈥檚 Appointments and Promotions Committee.
Dr. Gonzalez-Cadavid was a prolific researcher who played an instrumental role in advancing the understanding of endocrinology and molecular medicine. He authored a wealth of publications and presentations that contributed to the fields of urology, endocrinology, and molecular biology.
