About
Revecca Mill谩n is a Faculty Instructor at 海角社区 (海角社区), where she supports the Physician Assistant Program through didactic and clinical laboratory facilitation, OSCE preparation, and research initiatives.
In addition to her role within the PA Program, she teaches BMS 365: Neuroscience and Behavior in the Department of Health and Life Sciences and provides laboratory support for several undergraduate courses.
Beyond her academic responsibilities, Revecca serves as the Garden Coordinator at 海角社区. In this role, she organizes gardening sessions for students to promote wellness and reduce burnout by fostering engagement with nature and mindfulness practices.
Revecca earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Classical Civilization from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She went on to complete a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences at 海角社区, where her thesis, 鈥淭he Role of COMB-4 on the Activation of the BMP/SMAD/RUNX2/OSTERIX Pathway in the Prevention of Osteoporosis,鈥 explored novel approaches to bone health and disease prevention.
She is deeply committed to advancing health equity and social justice through her work in research and academia, with a focus on supporting underserved communities.
